Single Class: $45

Series Classes: $150, including a free tool kit.

* Minimum of 4 students will be required to open the class. Otherwise we will reschedule a time.

1. Color Theory class 

a. Create a color wheel, which displays three categories of colors: primary colors, secondary colors, and intermediate or tertiary colors. 

b. Create a painting using color theory including complementary colors, color temperature, etc. 

2. Lighting class 

a. Create an underpainting in monochrome color from a still life with strong lighting. 

b. Work in warm and cool colors into your painting.

3. Perspective class 

a. Learn one and two point perspective. 

b. Create a painting from a still life set up using one or two point perspective.

4. Composition class 

a. Learn composition techniques - while there are no unbreakable rules for composition, there are helpful techniques to improve your composition: Rule of third, symmetry, texture, frame inside frame, etc. 

b. Create a painting from a still life set up using what you learn about composition.
